Altamont Soccer Takes Tough Loss to T-Town

Altamont soccer held the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes scoreless for the second half, but a pair of first half goals would sink the Indians in a 2-0 loss at home on Tuesday. The Shoes got on the scoreboard late in the first half with a converted penalty kick as the Indians trailed 1-0. T-Town would score once more in the first half as Altamont trailed 2-0 going into halftime. The Indians held the Shoes at bay in the second half but were unable to connect on any of their own scoring attempts as they suffered the tough 2-0 loss. Altamont drops to 3-6 on the season and will play the final game of their five game homestand on Thursday when they host Wesclin.
