South Central's Offense Struggles in NTC Loss to St. Anthony


South baseball was held to just four hits amassed by two players as the Cougars failed to get going offensively and suffered a 4-0 loss to St. Anthony at home on Friday night. St. Anthony put up two runs in the second, one in the third and their final run came in the sixth inning. South Central had just two players record hits in the game with Aiden Hoover and Garrett Shumate recording two hits apiece while Chase Guerrettaz and Shumate did each reach base on a walk as well. The loss stopped the Cougars’ win streak at three as they fall to 3-4 on the season. After the weekend off, South Central will get back in action on Monday at home against Ramsey.
