Our Pro Wire Athlete of the Week for September 6 is the St. Elmo-Brownstown Lady Eagles volleyball team.
The Lady Eagles are off to a 4-0 start to the season with wins over Okaw Valley, Martinsville, Vandalia and South Central. The Lady Eagles have not lost a set yet as they have beat each opponent 2-0 so far. They will face some new competition this weekend with a round robin at Wayne City against the host Indians and Sparta before taking on Nokomis, CHBC and Sandoval in the coming week to mark five matches in six days.
