Vandals Football is set to have their first home game of the season tonight.
The Vandals are coming off their 51 to 33 win at Carlinville in Week 1 and are set to host the Hillsboro Hiltoppers tonight at Mark Greer Field. Hillsboro is 0-1 on the season, having fallen to Pana in week on, 46 to 27. But, the final score is a bit deceiving as it was a tie game at 27 in the 3rd quarter. Vandals Coach Jason Clay says this is an improved Hiltoppers team that will try and control the ball tonight.
Hillsboro Coach Joe Reed says they did some good things in their Week 1 loss to Pana. And, he knows they have their work cut out for them tonight.
