Altamont soccer has now won three of their last games after the host Indians beat the visiting Carlyle Indians 2-1 at home on Thursday. With 17 minutes of the first half gone, freshman Chase Pals would score Altamont’s first goal of the game from the top of the penalty area for a 1-0 lead. After neither team was able to score during the remainder of the first half, it was again Altamont who opened scoring in the second half. About 14 minutes into the half, Pals scored his second goal of the game with an assist from Juan Fulk to put Altamont up 2-0. Caryle was able to cut into the Altamont lead, scoring on a penalty kick to make it 2-1, but the host Indians were able to close out the win.
