Altamont baseball ended a four game skid while Ramsey is left still searching for their first win of the season after the Indians shut out the Rams, 10-0, in five innings on Thursday night. Altamont jumped ahead 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning on a Ramsey error and on a passed ball. They added another run in the second inning, scoring on a wild pitch, and one more run in the third inning on a passed ball to go ahead 4-0. A five-run fourth inning featuring RBI singles from Kade Milleville, Brayden Elam and Blake Berg as well as one run scored on a passed ball as the Indians pushed their lead to 9-0. Scoring in the game was capped off by an RBI groundout from K. Milleville bringing in another run to put Altamont on top 10-0 and trigger the run rule. The win moves Altamont to 2-4 on the season and they will be back at it at home today when they host Brownstown-St. Elmo in NTC action at 4:00pm. Ramsey drops to 0-4 and will play on Monday at South Central.
