CHBC volleyball got its first win of the season while Dieterich dropped its second straight as the two teams opened up National Trail Conference play on Thursday evening. The Bobcats got a 25-16 first set win before Dieterich battled and took the Bobcats to the limit as CHBC picked up the second set win, 25-23, for the match win. CHBC moves to 1-1 on the season and top 1-0 in the NTC. The will play next on Tuesday at Okaw Valley. For Dieterich, they drop to 1-2 on the season and to 0-1 to start NTC play. They will be back in action on Tuesday at home for another NTC match as they host Windsor/Stew-Stras.
