Grace Lemke, Altamont – The senior pitcher put on a strictly dominant performance throughout her final year on the mound for the Lady Indians as she would handle 172 of the 189 innings played by Altamont. Lemke faced 641 batters and struck out 416 of those batters including one of them being her 1,000th career strikeout during a game in April at Vandalia and she would go on and finish with 1,165 career strikeouts. Lemke finished the season at 18-9 with a 0.57 ERA giving up just 31 runs in 27 games she pitched in. Lemke was named as Co-MVP of the National Trail Conference this past season after being named MVP in 2024 and also earned the honor of First Team All-State.  Lemke originally signed to play softball and continue her education at College of Lake County.  But, she has since made the decision to get read for Division 1 Softball and will play at Eastern Illinois University.
