Wresting Newcomers of the Year–
Aiden Evans–Aiden put together a very strong season and anchored down the 106/113 pound spots all year for the Vandals. He went 45-11 overall and was a state qualifier. He also had strong showing at multiple tournaments, finishing 2nd at the CM Tournament, 3rd at the Litchfield Tournament and 5th at the Princeton Tournament. Aiden will return for his Sophomore year as a leader on the squad and part of a very strong returning lineup.
Gracey Simmons–Gracey had a very solid year in girls wrestling for the Vandals. She was consistently among the top finishers in tournament, taking 3rd in one tournament and 2nd in 5 other tournament. She also took the top spot at the 618 Girls Wrestling Scramble and won a Regional Championship in her weight class at the Mt. Zion Regional.
