Golf All Area Team (in no particular order)
Vandalia junior Owen Halford – After grabbing low scorer honors for the Vandals in several regular season matches, Halford shot an 84 to finish 19th at the South Central Conference Tournament and followed it up with a 20th place finish at the Mt. Olive 1A Regional to advance on to Sectionals. Halford wrapped up his season by finishing 92nd at the Zeigler 1A Sectional.
Ramsey junior Walker Stewart – Stewart was steady for Ramsey all season, finishing as the Rams second lowest scorer in several regular season matches. Stewart then tied for 22nd place finish at the Mt. Olive 1A Regional to advance on to Sectionals. Stewart wrapped up his season by finishing 88th at the Zeigler 1A Sectional.
Ramsey junior Annabelle Click – After a strong start to the season, tying for medalist in their opening match, Click was strong for the Lady Rams throughout the season. She would tie for 23rd at the Effingham St. Anthony 1A Regional to earn an advancing spot to Sectionals. She would finish 93rd at the Effingham 1A Sectional to end her season.
Vandalia senior Sophia McNealy – A steady presence for the Lady Vandals, McNealy finished top 2 in many regular season matches for the Lady Vandals. She missed making All-Conference by two strokes, finishing 11th at the South Central Conference Tournament as she helped Vandalia come in third as a team, their second year finishing in the top 3 for the SCC. Finished her high school career with a 38th place finish in the Effingham St. Anthony 1A Regional.
