Vandalia junior wide receiver Kohnor Depew – Depew was an unstoppable force in 2024 accounting for 22 touchdowns for the Vandals with 12 receiving TDs, six rushing TDs, 3 special teams TDs and one defensive TD. Depew racked up 854 receiving yards on 45 receptions while averaging 19 yard per catch. Depew rushed 15 times for 358 yards to average 23.87 yards a carry. Kohnor now sits seconds all time for the Vandals in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Depew was named First Team All-Conference Offensive Skills Positions and Second Team All-Conference Defensive Backs for the South Central Conference and was also named to the 2A All-State Team.
Vandalia sophomore quarterback Qwentyn Stombaugh – Stombaugh bust out in Week One with a pair of rushing touchdowns and didn’t look back as he amassed 21 rushing touchdowns and threw for another 20 touchdowns. Stombaugh completed 81 passes in 136 attempts for 1,394 yards and rushed 140 times for yards 1,082 yards. He rushed for over 100 yards in a game five times and passed for over 200 yards three times this season. Qwentyn now stands at 15th all-time for the Vandals in passing yards and 14th in total offensive yards. Stombaugh was named First Team All-Conference Offensive Skills Positions for the South Central Conference.
