2024-25 "Best Of"--Cross Country Runners of the Year


CHBC junior August Cosart – Cosart picked up where he left off from 2023 as he built on his strong sophomore season with his third year bringing his second straight National Trail Conference Individual title which aided in the Bobcats winning their second straight NTC team title. After qualifying for Regionals freshman season and then Sectionals during his sophomore season, Cosart turned in top 10 finishes in both in 2024 and earned himself a spot in the IHSA 1A State Cross Country meet where he finished 79th out of 258 runners.

CHBC freshman Zoe Sarver – In her first season of high school cross country, Sarver was steady in her first year with three top 10 finishes and two more top 20 finishes in 8 meets ran. Sarver took 6th in the individual standings at the National Trail Conference Meet and a 19th place finish at Regionals to qualify for Sectionals where she finished 47th out of 144 runners.
