Vandals Summer League Held Scoreless in Double Header

The Vandalia Vandals Summer League were shut out in both games of their double header on Monday against the Greenville Comets, falling 3-0 in game one, and 2-0 in game two. In the first game, the Vandals were held to just 3 baserunners, and Jack Lewis threw three innings of 3-run ball, and Andrew Casey threw 2 shutout innings. In the second game, the Vandals were held to just one hit off the bat of Lewis, and Casey threw 2 innings of shutout ball, and Brock Willenborg threw one inning allowing 2 runs before the game was called due to lighting.
