The Altamont Indians got three more games under their belt for the summer portion of their schedule, going 1-2 in the second Vandalia Shootout with a win against Auburn, before falling to Benton, and Illini West. Altamont Coach John Niebrugge said that it was nice to go against really good teams.
The Indians will be back in action for the second day of the shootout where they will take on Fairfield at 8 am, and Nashville at 10:30 before getting the tournament underway at 1 pm.
