The Brownstown/St. Elmo Lady Bombers got their first taste of summer basketball on Thursday, going 2-1 at the Emerald Acres Shootout in Mattoon. BSE fell to Taylorville in their first game of the afternoon, before rebounding for wins against Cumberland and St. Joe-Ogden.
The Lady Bombers will see some unfamiliar opponents, when they travel to Wisconsin Dells next week for a three-day shootout.
