Texas will take on Texas Tech for Championship of the WCWS with a southern Illinois tie—Games on WPMB

The Championship round is now set for the Women’s College World Series.

On Monday, Texas defeated Tennessee, 2 to 0, to advance to the title game.  On Monday night, Texas Tech took a 2 to 0 lead to the top of the 7th inning only to see Oklahoma tie with a two run home run.  Texas Tech then got the walk off win in the bottom of the 7th to end Oklahoma’s 4 year run as the WCWS champion.  Texas Tech is coached by Crab Orchard, Illinois native Gerry Glasco.
