CHBC’s August Cosart Qualifies for IHSA State Track Meet, Bobcats Take 10th at Sectionals

CHBC junior August Cosart has qualified for the IHSA 1A State Track Meet after taking first place in the 1600m Run while the Bobcats boys track and field team finished in 10^th place as a with 25 points at the Altamont 1A Sectionals. Cosart will run in the IHSA 1A State Meet next week with the Prelims on Thursday, May 29 at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.

First Place:

Third Place:

Griffin Vaughn – 3200m Run, 10:36.04

Fifth Place:

Porter Lilly – Triple Jump, 38’ 6.25”

Sixth Place:

Gage Hart – Shot Put, 42; 6.5”

Eighth Place:

Drake Richards – 300m Hurdles, 46.44 seconds

4×100 Relay (Clive Schlanser, Kaiden Garrido, Slade Rauch, Carter Dilley) – 46.86 seconds
