CHBC Shuts Out Martinsville in One-Hit Performance


CHBC pitchers AJ Radloff and Kale Hardimon combined to throw a one-hit ballgame as the Bobcats shut out Martinsville 10 to 0 on Thursday. CHBC got off to a fast start with four first inning runs and added on two more in the second inning for a 6-0 lead. After not scoring in the third, the Bobcats brought two more runs across the plate in the fourth and one more in the fifth and one on the sixth to push their lead to 10-0 and ended the game by run rule after six innings. Radloff and Hardimon each tossed three innings with Radloff allowing no hits while walking two and striking out eight batters. Hardimon allowed just one hit in his three innings of work and struck out seven. CHBC improves to 7-14 on the season and will play Monday at North Clay.
