Brownstown-St. Elmo baseball got a walk-off win at home on Tuesday, beating Woodlawn 6 to 5 as the Bombers have now won three of their last four games. The Cardinals scored first with a run in the first inning, but BSE responded with a pair of first inning runs to take a 2-1 lead. The Bombers extended that lead out to 3-1 with a third inning run. After two scoreless innings of baseball, Woodlawn scored four unanswered runs with two in the sixth inning and two more in the seventh inning to go up 5-3. Down to their last at bat, the Bombers loaded the bases and Calin Chandler hit a bases clearing double to bring in three runs and give the Bombers the comeback, walk-off win, 6-5. Chandler finished the game with 5 RBI accounting for all but one Bomber run in the game.
