CHBC baseball fell to Dieterich 2 to 1 after Dieterich scored a seventh inning run to walk it off on Monday. The Maroons took and early 1-0 lead with a run in the bottom of the fist inning, but that lead did not hold long as the Bobcats answered with a run of their own in the top of the second inning on as they used some heads up base running to score on a wild pitch and tie the game at 1-1. The two teams would go scoreless over the next four and a half innings before CHBC gave up a pair of walks to start the bottom of the seventh inning and the runners advanced on a fielder’s choice before Dieterich scored on a passed ball to score the winning run and hand the Bobcats the 2-1 loss. CHBC drops to 5-14 on the season and will be back in action today at home.
