Vandals baseball bounced back from a tough loss on Friday to pick up a 12 to 1 Saturday win over the Wesclin Warriors at I70 Media Field.
The Vandals scored 6 runs in the first inning to take control of the game, then added a single run in the 2nd inning and 5 more in the 4th to come up with the short game victory. The Vandals had just 6 hits, but took advantage of 4 Wesclin errors in the game. On the mound, Brady Elder was strong for 5 innings for the win. The Vandals are now 8-12 on the season. They will return to action on Tuesday at home versus Southwestern in SCC action.
