Mulberry Grove softball remains atop the Egyptian Illini Conference standings after getting a win at home over Martinsville, 8 to 2, on Friday. A sacrifice fly from Lily Johnson scored Lola Johnson in the first inning for a 1-0 Lady Aces lead and a RBI single from Lyla Mollett in the second inning had Mulberry Grove out to a 2-0 lead. The Lady Aces opened up the game in the third inning as Callye Earnest launched a home run to left field to score three runs and give Mulberry Grove the 5-0 lead.
