During Tuesday night’s Dual Team Sectional win, Vandals Senior Parker Ray and Sophmore Max Philpot reached major milestones in their high school wrestling careers, getting their 100th career win. Ray said that he felt good getting the accomplishment, especially after having an injury-riddled junior year.
Philpot said he would not have accomplished it without the help of the rest of his Vandals teammates.
Philpot and Ray both have had very solid seasons for the Vandals who now stand at 38-1 on the season. They will look to continue their success on Friday when they take on Chicago Hope Academy in the Dual Team Quarterfinals.
