St. Elmo-Brownstown held off Lincolnwood to get a 48 to 46 win at home on Tuesday night. A 20-12 first quarter run got the SEB offense jump started early, but the Eagles would be held to just four points in the second quarter as the Lancers pulled even with SEB at halftime, 24-24. The Eagles pulled back ahead in the third quarter, outscoring Lincolnwood 12-9 in the quarter for a 36-33 lead going into the final quarter. The Lancers would outscore SEB 13-12 in the quarter, but the Eagles were able hold the line just enough to get the two-point win, 48-46. SEB moves to 12-13 overall on the season and will get right back into action, traveling to Windsor/Stew-Stras tonight for a National Trail Conference contest.
