Following the Vandals 70-6 senior night win over Lawrenceville on Wednesday, Vandalia Senior wrestler Tyson Waughtel signed his letter of intent to wrestle at the University of Wisconsin. When asked why he chose Wisconsin, Waughtel said the coaching staff played a major role.
Waughtel is currently undefeated on the season and will look to capture the 126-pound championship of the Litchfield Tournament on Saturday, before looking to make it back to the individual State Tournament next month.
