Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City volleyball is on an upward swing right now and are doing it at the right time, going 2-0 on Saturday to win the Silver Flight of the National Trail Conference Volleyball Tournament. The Lady Bobcats began their day with a three set win over South Central 25-14, 21-25, 25-23 and then kept that momentum going for another three set win over North Clay 25-10, 21-25, 25-18. Those wins would give the CHBC the Silver Flight win as they finish NTC Tournament play at 3-1 and improve to 14-12 overall on the season. They now move onto play in the Egyptian Illini Conference Tournament where they will face Martinsville and Patoka on Tuesday at 6:30pm and 7:30pm in pool play at St. Elmo High School.
