Altamont scored early and then held on in the later innings to get a 3-2 win over Dieterich in the quarterfinals of the National Trail Conference softball tournament on Tuesday. Pitcher Grace Lemke struck out the side in the top of the first inning and in the bottom half, the Indians quickly got going with a leadoff bunt single from Claire Boehm followed by a second bunt single by Lemke.
