On Thursday, March 7th, the 8th grade Mulberry Grove Lady Eagles defeated the Pocahontas Indians in 2 matches 25-13, 25-22 to claim the Championship of their own Mulberry Grove 8-1A Regional. The 11-7 Eagles now advance to the Sigel St. Michael 8-1A Sectional where they will meet 22-2 Stew-Stras on Monday at 6:30pm. The winner of Monday’s match will advance to the 8-1A State Tournament at Kankakee Bishop McNamara to face the winner of the Sectional matchup between Hartsburg-Emden and Washington St. Patrick.
