Vandalia Boys Track Competes at EIU Indoor Invitational; Bowers and Whitehead Finish in Top 15

The Vandalia Boys track team competed at the EIU Indoor Invitational on Saturday in a meet that featured 59 teams from all three IHSA classes (1A, 2A and 3A) competing together. Two Vandals turned in top 15 finishes with freshman jumper Lucas Bowers finishing 11^th in the High Jump with a height of 5’ 8” and Ian Whitehead finishing 13^th in the 400m Dash with a time of :57.05. The Vandals will be back in action this Saturday as they and the girls team will compete in the Jersey Winter Thaw Coed Indoor Meet at Principia College.
