The Greenville Lady Comets saw their season come to a close on Tuesday night with a loss in the Breese Central 2A Regional semifinals. Greenville found themselves down early to host Breese Central, struggling to get much offense going and trailed 21-4 by the end of the first quarter. Greenville would pick it up a bit more offensively in the second but were still outscored 14-7 to trail 35-11 at halftime. Breese Central would control the third and a low scoring fourth quarter would wrap up the game with Greenville falling 56-22. The Lady Comets end their season at 14-19.
