Vandals Wrestler Jarek Wehrle is a state champion. In the 106 pound weight class, Jarek defeated Ty Edwards of Plano, 7 to 2, to win the State Title at the IWCOA State Championships in Springfield. Jarek joins Nathan Graumenz (1997), Arthur Langston (2002) and Joe-E Smith (2007) as past individual state champions in the past 25 years for the Vandals.
