Our Classic Call of the Week for Week #2 takes us back to just about 17 years ago to the day—-February of 2004—The Vandals with a 59 to 33 win at Staunton to secure a share of the South Central Conference title.
The Vandals only conference loss came at home by one point to Pana. the Vandals had defeated Pana earlier in the year at Pana in OT. The Vandals would finish the year 21-12, defeat Breese Mater Dei in the Regional Championship before eventually falling to Breese Central in the Sectional Championship game.
