(Undated) — MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred is hopeful that there will be a season starting in the summer. Speaking to CNN, Manfred said he has great confidence that the league will reach an agreement with the players association to start a shorten season in early July. The players have voiced concerns over safety issues involving a return to clubhouses and playing fields. Manfred said the players would be tested multiple times a week for the coronavirus, along with daily temperature checks and symptoms analysis.
