(St. Louis, MO) — Blues play-by-play broadcaster John Kelly will be donating plasma for a coronavirus study. The FOX Sports Midwest announcer says he will make the donation on May 2nd to determine whether antibodies from recovered COVID-19 patients can help those battling the disease. Kelly was diagnosed with double pneumonia last month and later tested positive for the coronavirus, but has now fully recovered. Doctors and scientists believe that a person who has developed antibodies while recovering from COVID-19 could be protected from getting the virus again.
