Greenville Lady Comets basketball senior Rylee Pickett has made the decision to continue her playing career at the collegiate level. Pickett announced via social media recently that she has committed to play basketball for the Fontbonne University Griffins.
Pickett played in 29 of the Comets 30 games this past season amassing 346 points, 62 assists, 50 rebounds and 43 steals.
For her career, Pickett finished with 866 points, 208 assists, 177 rebounds, 133 steals and 20 blocks. 47% of Pickett’s career points came on 137 made 3’s and she is the GHS all-time leader in 3-point field goal percentage at 38%. Pickett’s career point total and career assists total meets the criteria for the GHS Hall of Fame.
Fontbonne University is a member of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Griffins went 16-10 (15-3 in the SLIAC) during the 2019-20 season.
