>>NFL Planning To Start Season On Time With Fans

(New York, NY)  —  The NFL is preparing as if the season will start on time with fans in the stands come September.  Speaking to reporters, league executive VP Jeff Pash says he can’t be certain of that, but that’s their expectation.  The schedule is expected to be out no later than May 9th.

>>NFL Owners Approve Expanded Postseason

(New York, NY)  —  The odds of your favorite NFL team making the postseason are now better.  League owners have voted to approve an expanded playoff format from 12 teams to 14.  There will now be three wild card teams in each conference.  Only the top seed in each gets a first-round bye.

>>Bucs’ Godwin Gives Brady His Number-12

(Tampa, FL)  —  Tom Brady will still be wearing number-12 when he takes the field for Tampa Bay.  Wide receiver Chris Godwin has surrendered his number to the future Hall of Fame quarterback and will switch to 14 instead.  Godwin says Brady has earned it and he did not seek compensation.

>>Lakers Say Entire Team Now Symptom Free

(El Segundo, CA)  —  The Lakers say all of their players are currently symptom free of the COVID-19 virus.  The announcement comes two weeks after two unidentified players tested positive.  The Lakers team all got tested shortly after the Nets announced that four of their players were positive.

>>Dr. James Andrews Suspends TJ Surgeries

(Gulf Breeze, FL)  —  Dr. James Andrews is temporarily suspending Tommy John surgeries at his Florida facility.  A spokesperson says it’s to comply with the governor’s executive order.  Chris Sale and Noah Syndergaard have been criticized for recently having the non-emergency procedure.
