The 18th Annual Carlinville Rotary Club All-Star Basketball Game Classic that was scheduled for next Sunday, March 22 at Carlinville High School has been postponed.
An announcement was made stating that the games would be postponed and the situation will be reviewed “in mid-April and mid-May and determine if things have improved with the coronavirus and we can get a date set early in June to play the games.”
In the girls game, Vandalia High School’s Lanee McNary and Greenville High School’s Megan Hallemann, Rylee Pickett, Danielle Brand and Hannah Simpson were set to play as part of the Girls East team.
In the boys game, Vandalia High School’s Garrett Austin and Matthew Wells and Mulberry Grove High School’s Wyatt Criner and Kaleb Scoggins were set to play as part of the Boys East team.
