Two Vandals wrestlers punched their tickets to the Championship Semifinals with wins on Thursday night in the Quarterfinal Round. At 106lbs, Jarek Wehrle beat Garrett Luke of Lena-Winslow by Decision, 2-1, to advance while Anthony Enlow at 285lbs beat Nate Portz of Fulton by Fall in 2:44 to advance.
Bradyn Kasier at 152lbs and Gavin Mouser at 195lbs both suffered losses in the Quarterfinal round Thursday night and will go to the Second Round of Wrestlebacks on Friday where they will have to await their opponents which will be determined by the first round of Wrestlebacks.
After Preliminary round losses on Thursday afternoon, Owen Miller at 113lbs, Cutter Prater at 120lbs and Ryan Kaiser at 138lbs will all wrestle in the First Round of Wrestlebacks on Friday morning.

106lbs – Jarek Wehrle (45-1) will face Saul Trejo Jr. (26-3) of IC Catholic.
285lbs – Anthony Enlow (23-0) will face Hayden Copass (24-0) of Westville.
Vandals First Round Wrestlebacks Matchups (Begin Saturday Morning at 11am):
113lbs – Owen Miller (39-10) will face Devion Sanderson (15-9) of Lisle.
120lbs – Cutter Prater (36-11) will face Ethan Matlock (35-7) of LeRoy.
138lbs – Ryan Kaiser (36-15) will face Winston McPeek (41-7) of Lena-Winslow.
Vandals Second Round Wrestlebacks Matchups (Begin Saturday Afternoon at 1:30pm):
152lbs – Bradyn Kaiser (44-8) will await the winner of the first round wrestleback bout between Mikel Ent of Auburn and Noah Schnerre of Orion.
195lbs – Gavin Mouser (45-3) will await the winner of the first round wrestleback bout between Owen O’Hara of Beardstown and Kody Marschner of Reed-Custer.
