The post-season begins for Class 1A & 2A boys basketball on Monday.
The Vandals are in the Flora Regional. Overall, the Vandals are the #7 seed in their stacked sub-sectional and the #4 seed in the Flora Regional. The Vandals will take on #10 seed the host Flora in the opening game of the regional on Monday at 6 pm. A win would move the Vandals into the regional semi-final versus #1 seed Marshall on Tuesday at 7 pm.
The Comets are in the Roxana Regional and are the #5 seed in their sub-sectional and the #3 seed in the regional. The Comets will take on #13 Piasa Southwestern at 7:30 pm on Monday. A win would move the Comets into the regional semi-final versus #3 seed Roxana. On January 10th, the Comets lost to Roxana by just 2, 50 to 48.
SEB, South Central and Mulberry Grove are all in the Altamont Regional. SEB is the #7 seed in the sub-sectional and the #4 seed in the regional. The Eagles will play #9 Patoka on Monday at 7:30 pm. South Central is the #6 seed overall and the #3 seed in the regional. They will play Tuesday at 7:30 pm versus Christ Our Rock Lutheran. The Mulberry Grove Aces are the #13 seed. They will play #3 seed Dieterich on Tuesday at 6 pm.
The Ramsey Rams will be in the Macon Meridian Regional. They are the #12 seed in the sub-sectional. They will take on host-Macon Meridian at 7:30 pm on Tuesday.
