Seven Vandals wrestlers will compete at the IHSA Individual State Wrestling Tournament next weekend after finishing in the top 4 at the Vandalia Individual Sectional Tournament.
Jarek Wehrle at 106lbs and Anthony Enlow at 285lbs were the Vandals only Sectional Champions this year.
Gavin Mouser finished 3rd at 195lbs while Owen Miller at 113lbs, Cutter Prater at 120lbs, Ryan Kaiser at 138lbs and Bradyn Kaiser at 152lbs all finished in 4th place.
The IHSA Individual State Tournament will kick off on Thursday, February 20 at the State Farm Center in Champaign and continue on Friday and Saturday.

106lbs: Jarek Wehrle beats Matthew Minick of Belleville Althoff by Decision to claim Championship at 106lbs.
113lbs: Owen Miller loses to Jake Schwartz of Carlinville by Decision, 6-0. Miller finishes in 4th Place.
120lbs: Cutter Prater loses to Ryder Parson of Pinckneyville by Decision, 5-1. Prater finishes in 4th Place.
138lbs: Ryan Kaiser loses to Peyton Holt of Tolono Unity by Major Decision, 15-6. Kaiser finishes in 4th Place.
152lbs: Bradyn Kaiser loses to Michael Carpenter of Cumberland by Fall in 3:51. Kaiser finishes in 4th Place.
195lbs: Gavin Mouser beats Shane Trimingham of Auburn by Fall in 2:55. Mouser finishes in 3rd Place.
285lbs: Anthony Enlow beats Gabe Craig of Benton by Decision, 2-0 to claim the Championship at 285lbs.
