Lady Vandals sophomore Madison Ferguson will represent VCHS at the IHSA Girls State Bowling Tournament after placing 3rd in Saturday’s O’Fallon Sectional at St. Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights.
Ferguson recorded a 6-game score of 1350 with her high game being 266. That was good enough for 3rd place and advances Ferguson to the State Tournament as one of five qualifying individuals not on an advancing team. The State Tournament will be held Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22 at Cherry Bowl Lanes in Rockford.
The Lady Vandals came in 5th as a team with a score of 5469, just one spot shy of a team berth to State.
