It will be a busy day and night of hoops action for area schools.
The NTC Girls Basketball Tournament gets underway this morning. South Central will take on Dieterich at 10 am while BSE will face North Clay at 1 pm. The NTC Girls Basketball Tournament is being played at Beecher City High School.
The Lady Vandals will take on Effingham this evening at 6 pm at Effingham in the Effingham Round Robin.
In boys basketball, the Vandals will begin play in the Benton Invitational Tournament. The Vandals will take on Mounds Meridian at 5:30 pm this evening.
The Comets and the Rams will be playing in the Litchfield Tournament. The Ramsey Rams, coming off their loss to Pana in the first game of the tourney on Saturday, will take on Bethalto Civic Memorial at 6 pm today in the Panther Gym, which is the auxiliary gym for the tournament. The Comets will begin play in the tournament tonight as they will take on Mt. Zion at 7:30 pm, also in the auxiliary gym.
SEB boys basketball will be in action tonight as they will take on Martinsville.
