The St. Elmo-Brownstown Eagles cheerleading squad is set to compete in Springfield this Saturday at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association State Championships.
SEB qualified for the Championships after taking 2nd Place at the Alton Invitational during the first weekend of December.
Team members competing this weekend are Amanda Koehler, Holly Struble, Ginevra Beltrando, Madison Doty, Elly Wilhour, Andi Chandler, Morgan Poe, Willow Brown, Nora Rees, Dakota Orechovesky, Emily Lawson, Jayla Thull, Elaine Voelker, Teresa Viramontes and McKenzie Fischer.
The team is coached by Head Coach Deb Hunter and Assistant Coach Shayla Stokes.
The Eagles will compete at 10:30am on Saturday morning at the Bank of Springfield Center. Doors will open at 8:30am and tickets are $7 for students and $10 for adults.
Awards for the Varsity teams will be held at 5pm on Saturday evening.
