The Vandals wrestlers will get started in the Abe’s Rumble Tournament today.
Abe’s Rumble is a 60 team tournament with squads broken into 12 pools of 5. The Vandals pool includes Peoria Notre Dame, Mt. Zion, Lawrenceville, and Normal U-High. After wrestling everyone in their pool, the tournament then moves to the championship round later on today and tonight and continues for a second day on Saturday. The Vandals come into the tournament with the #3 ranking in Class 1A wrestling in the state in the IWCOA rankings.
