
Brownstown-St. Elmo senior guard Claire Wilhour got her college decision out of the way early, announcing over the summer that she was committing to play basketball for Parkland College in Champaign. On Friday, Wilhour held a letter signing surrounded by her family, coaches and teammates at Brownstown High School.

Wilhour has already racked up tons of honors throughout her career, having the been named the National Trail Conference MVP for the 2018-19 season, Dieterich Holiday Tournament MVP, 2nd team All State, been named to many all-tournament teams and has already passed 1,000 points for her career, doing so during her junior season. She is also a multi-event state qualifier in track, placing 4th in the 300 hurdles her junior year and 7th in the event in her freshman year.
