The Greenville boys basketball team got their first win of the season, beating Flora 51-43 on Friday night at the Kaskaskian Classic in Carlyle. It was the final pool play game for the Comets who went 1-2 in pool play. Desmond Gardner led the Comets with 14 points and Peyton McCullough also finished in double digit scoring with 11 points.
The Comets will wrap up play in the tournament on Saturday when they play in the 5th Place game on Saturday at 4:30pm.
