South Central girls basketball fell 64-37 to CHBC in their season and home opener on Tuesday evening. CHBC got out to a quick start leading 15-0 before the Cougars were able to put their first points on the board and held a 32-15 lead at halftime. South Central put up 22 more in the 2nd half but it was not enough to close the gap as they fall 64-37
Laney Webster and Halle Smith led South Central with 14 points each. Brooklyn Garrett and Kayli Swift added 3 apiece, Kelsey Landreth finished with 2 points and Adrianna Horton scored 1 point.
South Central is 0-1 on the season and 0-1 in the NTC. The will be back in action at home on Thursday taking on North Clay.
