Greenville girls basketball got their season underway with a 35-30 win over Triad at the Columbia Girls Tip-Off Classic on Tuesday night. Megan Halleman had 11 points in the game to lead the defending tournament champion Lady Comets. Greenville moves into the semifinals and will take on the winner of the quarterfinal game between New Athens and Alton Marquette on Thursday at 7:30pm.
