The Vandals finished the regular season at 9-0 for the first time since 1996 and won the South Central Conference outright for the first time in school history. The Vandals defeated 4 playoff teams during the season–Pana (28 to 18), Comets (45 to 7), Carlinville (48 to 7) and Roxana (26 to 22). The Vandals averaged winning games 44 to 9.
North Mac plays in tough Sangamo Conference and suffered losses to 8-1 Maroa-Forsyth, 9-0 Williamsville, 6-3 Auburn and 7-2 Athens. North Mac average score was 27 to 18 during the regular season.
