The South Central Lady Cougars fell to Olney East Richland on Tuesday night 19-25, 16-25.
The match served as both Senior Night and South Central’s annual Pink Out match. Seniors Angelica Rivera, Kelsey Landreth, Katie Shumate and Ainsley Swartzlander were honored prior to the Varsity match.
Also prior to the match, Farina LaGrove graduate Mia Smith who is currently preparing for her 22nd season as the head women’s basketball coach at Illinois Wesleyan University spoke to the crowd on hand about her personal battle with cancer.

South Central is now 19-10 on the season and will play their final regular season game on Thursday at Christ Our Rock Lutheran. They will then begin postseason play at home next week.
